Thursday (05/02/24) a significant amount of rain (0.71 inches) fell at this location.  The soil is moist and there is some standing water in ditches, ponds, and low spots for the wildlife. Plants are not showing any signs of drought stress. Dry, windy conditions resulted in a few brush fires in the region this week. All of the fires were small and quickly extinguished. No homes had to be evacuated and there were no reported injuries to humans, pets, livestock or property.
