Spring rains are helping a great deal to overcome the moisture deficit over the past two years with good rains again this week. Some flooding in the area and many rivers and creeks are flooding roads. A small tornado formed in the area and caused damage to homes and trees. Shoal Creek is returning to normal levels. There have been several water rescue incidents in the area this week. Deer and other wildlife are very active. Grass and hay meadows are developing rapidly. Fire danger is low however gusty winds are still a danger factor.
