Second batch of cumulonimbus approached our area during the 4:00pm hour. First raindrops began at 4:20pm with just enough intensity to make hard surfaces damp. Precipitation intensity increased at 4:25 and hard surfaces became wet and NW wind increased. Rain intensity decreased at 4:28 and nearly stopped at 4:30. Rain intensity increased again at 4:32 and began to decrease again at 4:35pm. Light rain by 4:38 with rain gradually ending by 4:48 as a sprinkle. Very light rain with NW wind began at 5:00pm ending by 5:20 with an estimated trace of additional precipitation. Checked gauge catch at 6:00pm after skies cleared and found 0.04" which is the same as this morning. Heard only one distant rumble of thunder to our west during the event with no hail or heavy rain observed.   View
