The ground has dried out nicely in the past couple of days as vegetation becomes more active and we did have a few sunny days with the low humidity. Rainfall has been minimal, adding up to only a tenth of an inch during the past week. The ground is actually quite dry in spots, moist, but not excessively so, in other parts.  View

We ended up with 1.5" plus below normal for one of our wettest months. April 2024 had 2.28" of rain. Our Strawberry farmers had to do a lot of irrigating. Farm ponds are down about 40%./ My blueberry plants needed water and they are tough Fishing catches are down due to low water oxygenation . Vegetation is showing some yellowing. Water quality is good but quantity is down. Wildlife is seen more than usual due to looking for water and tender vegetation.  View
