Description:
We had Near Normal conditions this week with 0.56” of precipitation falling as rain over 4 days. Temperatures this week were about at about seasonal average, but we had one morning with hard frost and this weekend it got up to 81 F. Tulips, vinca, hyacinths, grape-hyacinths, phlox and bleeding hearts continue to bloom. Forsythia and daffodil blooms are fading. Azaleas, lilacs, Red Bud trees and a variety of other trees are in flower. Maple trees are green and other trees are starting to leaf out. Lawns are green and grass is growing. Farmers are working their fields. Raccoons and possums have been active during daylight hours (unusual).
