Station Name: White Rock 1.4 NE
Report Date: 6/21/2021
Submitted: 6/21/2021 9:27 AM
Scale Bar: Severely Dry
Description:
Continued dry with 0.15" of precipitation recorded over the past week. Showers and thunderstorms on most days, but each often brought only a trace of rain. Temperatures were well above normal for this time of year, with highs averaging 96F and lows 61F (a peak high of 100F on 14 June) over the week. Afternoon relative humidity dropped below 20% on each day, but on only one day did it drop below 10% (an improvement over previous weeks!). Ground conditions remain very dry yet native vegetation seems to be coping. We've accumulated 0.81" of rainfall month-to-date, which is slightly above average for June despite the longer-term drought.
