My neighborhood moved from dry to normal.  I had 1.60" in the rain gauge this week through Sunday the 11th.  We are at at 2.87" from March 24th. There was some ponding in low spots. This was a soaking rain and surface moisture is good. It has been sunny and warm and it has been greening up fast. The threat of wildfires has diminished.  Hay and winter wheat are green and growing as well as lawns.  The lawn mowing will be starting this week.  Spring is about 2 to 3 weeks ahead of normal.  Trees and bushes are leafing out and spring flowers are blooming.  Creeks are running fast and ditches have water in them.  The Baraboo and Wisconsin rivers are rising but I don't think it will be a problem.
