Description:
November has been very dry but after several months of wet conditions it's hard to call it dry quite yet. Ditches that have been full much of the summer are beginning to dry out with ice collapsing into the voids underneath. The main concern is the lack of snow cover's effect on septic systems and other water pipes underground. Any precipitation we get now will sit on the surface and run off or freeze. If next week's forecast holds, I will likely move into the dry category.
