Rainfall in the last week was 0.31 inches.  On the 12th we had 2.96 inches.  In spite of that, dry conditions prevail.  Digging today yielded no moisture in at least the top 12 inches.  Plant stress is increasing, though not as much as two weeks ago.  Stream flow is low, lakes in the area continue to fall slowly...running three to five feet below average pool.
