Moist ground good for digging to transplant etc. regular rain for more than a month. But has been too rainy and cold and windy to do much outside. This week mild near 60 and feels great outside. Birds are beginning to talk about mating. Bluebirds are checking out the houses. Crocus, daffodils and hellebores are in bloom. Buds on the maple trees. There are a few robins around which is the new normal for February. Squirrels are coming to feeder. Hawks are calling to each other.
