Is Condition Monitoring Report: False
Description: With a July rainfall total of 2.47 inches and 15 days of 90 degrees or higher, and an August rainfall total of only 1.69 inches with 10 days of 90 or higher, the combination of heat and rainfall of about 50% of normal is causing dry and increasingly harsh conditions here. Lawns are essentially dormant and there has been just enough rainfall to prevent serious damage to trees, landscaping, and agriculture. However, dry and warm conditions have continued over an extended period and the cumulative effects are being felt. Rainfall over the past 5 days here has been minimal. August is on pace to being the 9th of the past 10 months here with below normal rainfall.
